BEAVERTON, OREGON - Now, as we are sure you’ve heard... Nike and Colin Kaepernick have teamed up to bring you what we like to call the greatest “shoe genocide” of our time. Apparently, both parties had simply decided that Nike’s old shoe line just wasn’t cutting it in today’s fashion world and could not stand to see another soul wear what they deemed “derelict soles.” This move has sent a shockwave throughout the fashion industry and even has ol’ three stripes on the edge of its seat trying to figure out if it’s time to revamp its style.
Now, we aren’t sure if this move will play off for Nike, but as the saying goes “Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing every single shoe.” So, it’s out with the old and in with the new as Nike prepares for their new styles to hit shelves this winter.
For now, it's time to watch and see if this flame continues to grow or just fizzles out.
