LONDON, UK - DJ Khaled, who is accompanied by fellow executive producer and son, Asahd Khaled, is on the way to London, where he plans to release a new album. The album, titled “Father of Asahd” was inspired by the close connection Khaled shares with his son, and features production from Asahd himself. The young musician, who will celebrate his 2nd birthday in October, had this to say about the upcoming release:
“I tried to draw some of my inspiration for this album from the controversy surrounding Drake and his son. How I would feel in that situation, you know? I guess I never really thought about it before, because pops is always around, motivating me. I mean I can’t even use the bathroom without him encouraging me to be better! But I try not to think about that too much. I’m just going on vacation.”
When asked about his family’s plans in England, Asahd simply responded “Wahhhhh, we the best” and declined to answer any further questions until he had his mid-afternoon nap.
